This hands-on training session will cover the physics and operation of ND-YAG Q-Switch lasers. An introduction to the anatomy and physiology of skin parameters, photo facial, vascular and pigmented problems, and tattoo removal will be an integral element of the course. Training on Q-switch is vital to the safety of both employees and customers, as well as to the proper running of the device.
Upon completion of the course, you will be able to:
- Examine methods for lightening skin and carrying them out
- Perform practice proper methods of sanitation and disinfection
- Describe the client safety measures used while using a laser.
- Learn the differences between treatments for skin tone, pigmentation, and tattoos.
- Describe and demonstrate a carbon laser peel for deep-pore cleansing.
- Describe and demonstrate a carbon laser peel for deep-pore cleansing.
- Conduct tests and maintenance on equipment, and assess the results.
- Analyze laser settings critically (wavelength, pulse duration, spot size, energy settings)
- Learn the differences between the several types of skin-care lasers used in medical settings.
- Perform post laser treatment for the client
- Apply patient observation and consultation in your practice.
